Following the 2009 earthquake, the MUNDA was moved to Borgo Rivera in the former slaughterhouse premises,pending the restoration of the Spanish Fort. On display are around sixty archaeological finds and approximately 110works including paintings, sculptures, and goldsmithery, dating from the Middle Ages to the Modern Era. Fountain of the 99 Spouts<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n

The Rivera Fountain, known as the 99 Spouts, is perhaps the most representative monumentof L’Aquila because it is linked to the city’s foundation legend.
