Both require physical fitness and good ski mountaineering technique.<br\/>The ascent along the summit ridge always delivers strong emotions.<br\/>The ski mountaineering excursion to Gran Sasso, once the summit is reached, offers a fantastic panorama with views of the Adriatic Sea.<br\/>The descent is very rewarding, often on well-settled snow.<br\/>Campo Imperatore is a jewel crowned by mountains that touch the sky, all above 2,000 meters.
